Selecting Pallet Racks

Selective pallet storage gives direct access to pallet positions for warehouses and logistics operations. Lay out bays and aisles around the pallet and the handling equipment, not just the room dimensions.

Configuration inputs

Pallet size and loaded weight, pallets per level, beam levels, clear lift height, forklift turning aisle and floor condition.

How to choose pallet racks

1. Confirm each pallet’s loaded size, weight and condition, including overhang.
2. Set the number of pallet positions, beam levels and clear lift heights.
3. Match aisles and operating clearances to the actual forklift and site layout.
4. Have beams, uprights, connections, anchors and the floor reviewed before approving loads.

Materials, finish and order scope

Agree the steel construction, shelf/deck arrangement, reinforcement, surface treatment, colour and accessories for the use and environment. Required load per level and the heaviest individual item must be reviewed separately.Approval before manufacture: Final dimensions, load ratings, connections, stability, anchors and floor/support conditions require approval for the selected configuration.
